Calvary Chapel Eastside is offering a Biblical Parenting Seminar on April 7th, from 6:30PM-9PM. We invite all parents to take advantage of this available resource in our area.
In this seminar you’ll learn how to develop a parenting plan that takes your child’s unique needs into account. Based on the books “Motivate Your Child” and the “Motivate Your Child Action Plan," you will learn how to help children change. Your kids are changing whether you like it or not. The question is, will they change in positive ways or negative ones?
Kids need life skills and now is the time to build them. If you want to know where your child is weak and needs help, just stop for a moment and ask yourself this question, “What tendency does my child have that makes me feel uncomfortable?” Likely you’ll be drawn to a significant heart issue that needs some work.
A children's program is provided to complement what the parents are learning. The cost is $20 per adult, $30 per couple. Register here. For more info or questions, please contact Pastor Abe at firstname.lastname@example.org

We are excited once again to partner with the PLES PTA to help raise money to support student learning! This is our 5th year working with the school and we have seen many wonderful services/programs get funded because of this important event.
The PTA is grateful for the way Lighthouse comes alongside them to put on their biggest fundraiser. Our volunteers on the day of the auction and the generous donations of auction items are an encouragement to the PTA. Our involvement helps them meet student needs and build a stronger PLES community.
We are looking for volunteers to help with various tasks on the day of the auction (processing, check-out, silent auction table monitors…), and donations of auction items (themed baskets, gift cards…) New this year is a need for baked goods. All are welcome to attend and enjoy the auction festivities!

Do you have unacknowledged hurts or unforgiveness that is keeping you from the joy and peace God wants for you? The group will meet on Thursdays from June 16th - Aug 4th. The group will tentatively be meeting at Pastor Abe's Home in Renton. To sign up for the course, e-mail Pastor Abe - email@example.com
