Calvary Chapel Eastside is offering a Biblical Parenting Seminar on April 7th, from 6:30PM-9PM. We invite all parents to take advantage of this available resource in our area.
In this seminar you’ll learn how to develop a parenting plan that takes your child’s unique needs into account. Based on the books “Motivate Your Child” and the “Motivate Your Child Action Plan," you will learn how to help children change. Your kids are changing whether you like it or not. The question is, will they change in positive ways or negative ones?
Kids need life skills and now is the time to build them. If you want to know where your child is weak and needs help, just stop for a moment and ask yourself this question, “What tendency does my child have that makes me feel uncomfortable?” Likely you’ll be drawn to a significant heart issue that needs some work.
A children's program is provided to complement what the parents are learning. The cost is $20 per adult, $30 per couple. Register here. For more info or questions, please contact Pastor Abe at firstname.lastname@example.org

We are excited once again to partner with the PLES PTA to help raise money to support student learning! This is our 5th year working with the school and we have seen many wonderful services/programs get funded because of this important event.
The PTA is grateful for the way Lighthouse comes alongside them to put on their biggest fundraiser. Our volunteers on the day of the auction and the generous donations of auction items are an encouragement to the PTA. Our involvement helps them meet student needs and build a stronger PLES community.
We are looking for volunteers to help with various tasks on the day of the auction (processing, check-out, silent auction table monitors…), and donations of auction items (themed baskets, gift cards…) New this year is a need for baked goods. All are welcome to attend and enjoy the auction festivities!
Please see these contact people for more information

Join us for a time of sharing, prayer and worship this Friday 7-8:30PM, at the home of Liz Wong & Bob Yokobe (6558 156thAve SE, Bellevue, WA). In light of the post-election fears, division, protests, and violence, we are calling our church to a time of prayer for the healing of our nation. This is a time to look to our Lord and Savior, for help, humility, and reconciliation as some people are feeling angry, some relieved, some fearful, hopeless or unsure of the future of our nation. We will have some time of worship and we will also have space for people to process what they are feeling and turn to God no matter which side of the election they landed on. This gathering is open to everyone so feel free to invite whoever might be interested.
