Talk Time Classes

Lighthouse will begin offering a weekly Talk Time session starting Thursday Sept 20th (10:00-11:30am). If you or someone you know wants to improve their English conversational skills, please join us at the Lighthouse Center. Women's Fellowship


The Women’s Fellowship of Lighthouse would like to invite all women to our quarterly event to kick-off the new fellowship and discipleship year.  The kick-off will be held on September 29th, 2018 from 930am to 1130am at the Lighthouse Church Office.  Childcare and a light brunch will be provided, along with good conversations, and a chance to meet new faces! As Rose buds can still bloom in the fall and winter months, come join us in learning and hearing from other “Rose Bud” participants, and see if you’d like to build in fellowship or mentor-ship as we kick off the new year.  Please bring any other family and friends interested in attending. The signup sheet will be available between services, or you may sign up by clicking HERE..  We look forward to seeing new and returning faces again!

Baptisms at Lighthouse

Baptism is a very important step for a follower of Jesus Christ. We invite you, if you have not already, to take this vital step in becoming baptized at Lighthouse. Lighthouse will be having baptisms on September 30th. If you'd like to get baptized, you are asked to attend one of the following classes: Sept. 9th @ 8:50AM in Room 110 or Sept. 16th @ 10:50AM in Room 110. Young Families Ministry at Lighthouse would like to offer a Parents Night Out on Saturday, October 13th. Leave the kids with us and enjoy a couple hours alone with your spouse. Soul Food - Prayer Workshop

The Women’s Fellowship will be hosting a prayer workshop on October 27th from 9:30am-3:00pm at the Lighthouse Center. Join us for an opportunity to practice active listening and praying as the prayer team leads us through exercises to build the tools that help us feed our souls, and our community; with love, God’s word, and worship. Let’s spend time together growing our prayer skills!

Lighthouse Vacation Bible School

Lighthouse will be having their annual Vacation Bible School for preschoolers (4 years old) - Current 4th graders on July 17th to July 20th. (All campers must be 4 years old or older by July 31st, 2018.) The Summer VBS will be held at Phantom Lake Elementary School.

We're going to have an EXTREMELY awesome time at VBS-2018! God wants us to live our lives, fully ALIVE! “Get your gear on to know, love, and serve a BIG GOD!” We’ll discover how big God is through the adventures of:

Joseph: God is always with us!  
Noah: Sin does not have a final victory.  
Jesus: Jesus is our BFF.  
Zaccheus: We love as He loved us.

VBS will begin at 9:30AM and go into 12PM each day from Tuesday to Friday.

The issues surrounding Immigration has been on the forefront of many of our minds. "How as a Christian, should I be viewing immigration? What can I do in regards to this sensitive issue?" We will be gathering together for an informal discussion on this issue and ways in which we can pray about it as a church community. Lighthouse seeks to build relationships that bless our community and point people to Jesus. Let’s join our Phantom Lake Elementary PTA on Friday, April 20th, as they celebrate the 40th anniversary of the PLE PTA and raise money to give our students a well rounded elementary experience! The Groovy Ruby Celebration will be a fun happy hour held at the South Bellevue Community Center from 7-10 PM. Tickets are only $30 and include dancing, special auction items, hors d'oeuvres and a drink.

Crafty Sunday

Come join us for some crafty fun and fellowship! You will create your very own Kokedama, a style of Japanese Bonsai, where a plant’s root system is wrapped in moss and bound with string, transforming it into a living sculpture. Loosely translated, ‘koke’ means moss and ‘dama’ means ball. Cost includes all the materials to make one kokedama (except the plant) and a Japanese lunch will be provided. Please bring your own indoor plant of choice (succulent, bonsai, houseplant, etc) Cost: $20 per person

DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) Info Session

DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) – Lighthouse is providing an opportunity for ‘Dreamers’ to renew their DACA status before the Oct 5 deadline. On Mon Oct 2 from 7:00-8:30pm at the Lighthouse Center, staff, including an immigration attorney will be available to answer questions and assist with the reapplication process.
